recipe: tomato puree
ingredients:
tomatoes (how many ever you want)
little water
salt and pepper for extra flavour,including lemon juice or lime juice if you want,
it will bring out all the flavours.
a blender
method:
first: wash the tomatoes, put them on your counter top or your cutting board. slice the
tomatoes into thin slices. you can cut how many ever slices you want depending on
how much puree you want.
next: if you want the seeds or not, its up to you. but i will always remove the seeds,
blend it until it is smooth, if you want keep on checking your tomato puree consistency.
later on, in between, you could add your salt, pepper, lemon juice or lime juice. it is
up to you, you can add anything you like to bring up all those flavours.
then blend it for at least 2 to 3 minutes, until it is smooth and there are no lumps. if
there are lumps, add a pinch of water. that will send away the lumps and bring back
the smoothness you want. of course, everyone would want the smoothness. then you
can transfer it to a glass and sprinkle it with anything you like. you can put a dollop of
whipped cream.
another beautiful way, take a plate put any sprinkles you want, take another plate and
put a napkin on, you can add any juice or vodka you want, including water and just put
whatever liquid you want on the napkin and then take your glass, put it on the tissue
paper that has liquids and take your glass and put it on the sprinkles and then your
ring is full of sprinkles, then you can your tomato puree into your glass and decorate
it with anything you like. but remember do not put any liquids. if you put liquids, it
will start to overflow and you may be having a bad taste of your tomato puree.
